Day 2 of the long weekend (August 30 --- September 1, 2008). Started at the Piper trail parking lot and took Piper trail up to Mt Chocorua (3475', 1059m). Checked out Camp Penacook not too far from the summit. On the way down, took the Hammond trail, passed by the Liberty Cabin, then picked up Weetamoo trail and finished on the Piper trail. Total: 9 miles (14.4 km), 7 hours.
