On July 4, 2007, to celebrate The Independence Day, Marineta and I drove from Boston to the White Mountains in New Hampshire and hiked Mt. Washington (6288 ft/1916.6 m). We took the Lion's Head trail up the mountain, had lunch at the top, I even managed to send a few SMS messages and e-mails from the summit using my Blackberry, and then we hiked down taking the very steep Tuckerman's Ravine trail. We actually camped in the Whites for a couple days and did some kayaking and more hiking (small Iron mountain).
